Imane Ayissi presents Asseulénn collection Spring-Summer 2017


A Public of choice was eager to meet on July 7, 2016 at 5.30 Pm, local time at home at La Maison des Metallos located at 94 rue Jean-Pierre Timbaud in the 11th district of Paris, the French capital epicenter of the fashion World.

Imane Ayissi presented his collection Asseulénn Spring-Summer 2017. A collection that does not detract from what was already known of the French Cameroonian designer who once again wowed the audience with the quality and style of this collection directly inspired by his African roots. With this collection once again Africa crosses the rest of the world. Asseuléen a term which in vernacular language of the ethnic group Ewondo which the designer is from means crossing and mingling. Imane with this collection he is taking on the world stage this year the Yoruba and Akan culture inspiring itself of noble fabrics worn by African dignitaries in Ghana and Ivory Coast. The task was arduous, given the sacred character and the rarity of these fabrics. In the end it is a noble and dignified Africa that is represented in this collection with the most modern attire anchored in the rich ancestral tradition of the black continent.
